We brought the Heat to Idaho Falls
Congratulations to the 9U Boise Heat team. It was a cold weekend in Idaho Falls, but the 9U boys played some great baseball and earned a second place finish out of 18 teams! Going 3-1 in pool play, with their only loss to the only undefeated team in the tournament (Salt Lake Rebels), they earned a re-match in the final game. Check out the results at: Idaho Falls Tournament results.
Winter Baseball Camps
There is a new practice facility in Boise. It's called "Sandlot Boise". Run by former Major League players you will get excellent training. I encourage all of you to attend their winter baseball camps.
Fall Season Begins! (9/4/07)
The 11U and 8U Teams are now 12U and 9U. The 12U Team kicked off it's season in the Big League Dreams parks in Manteca, CA. Despite a 1-2-1 record, they lost to the eventual undefeated champions by two runs playing them strong through 5 innings (3-3 after 5). They also played day 2 without a loss. Look for us to travel once a month in the off-season for the 12U Team. The 9U team held a scrimmage on Sunday. Look for the 9U team to have Sunday scrimmages while the weather permits and taking a trip or two to the batting cages. If you know of any interested individuals, please have them contact me to get on our email list.
